Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) Reminder – Don’t Forget!

The Emergency Paid Sick Leave and the Emergency Family Medical Leave Expansion expires on December 31st with no word on if they will be extended.  In the meantime, if employees are absent due to a COVID-19 related reason, such as taking care of themselves or others due to COVID -19, including school closures, the employee may be eligible for benefits under the programs until the end of the year.
