Exempt and Non-Exempt Employees

The Department of Labor announced a new salary level of $35,309 for exempt employees effective January 1, 2020.  In addition to meeting the salary-level threshold, the job duties must meet specific requirements for a position to be exempt. Since misclassification of employees is one of the most confusing areas for employees, we will review your job descriptions to ensure they are correctly categorized.
