With more states legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes, as well as some states for recreational purposes, it is a good time to review your drug use and drug testing policies.
Policies should prohibit;
· the use, possession, sale, distribution or manufacturing at work
· employees from reporting to work under the influence
Other areas to include are the right to search an employee’s workspace if there is reasonable suspicion and compliance with Federal, State and City laws.
